- There’s no thrill quite like launching a model rocket, watching it streak skyward, reach peak altitude, and then return gently to earth. When you build them, the thrill is even better than ever. Thanks to Estes model rocketry, kids can explore the wondrous world of science while experimenting with different combinations of rockets, engines and accessories to better understand how rockets reach outer space.
- SKILL LEVEL: The Wizard is an Intermediate level rocket which will help a budding rocketeer develop some basic model building and finishing skills.

The Wizard requires an Estes Launch System and Estes engines for the launch (not included). Start with a ½ A6-2 or A8-3 engine for the first flight. Use an Estes A8-5, B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, C6-5 or C6-7 engine for subsequent flights. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters, recovery wadding and four ‘AA’ alkaline batteries are required – sold separately unless otherwise specified. Read all instructions before beginning. Make sure you have all parts and supplies required. Test fit all parts before applying glue. Sand as necessary for precision assembly. Product color and shape may vary. When launching, stand back as far as the launch controller cord will allow (15 feet). Rocketry is not intended for indoor use. Choose a large field (500 feet), free of dry weeds and brown grass. Launch only with little or no wind and good visibility.

The easy to apply, self-stick decals are sure to make this mystic rocket the envy of everyone at your local launch field. The Wizard is a great high altitude rocket for beginners, schools, clubs and rocket demonstrations. Regardless if you’re a beginner or pro, the Wizard promises hours of flying magic. Assembly takes at least an afternoon. Building tools, finishing supplies, Estes engines and launch supplies also required – sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
