This is an optional HPI Light Weight Mod1, 29 Tooth Idler Gear, and is intended for use with the HPI Savage, Savage X and Savage Flux monster trucks. This light weight steel idler gear features a thinner profile with lightening holes machined in the face for a 38% reduction in weight compared to the stock gear. This gear is used in the middle transmission, and is a direct replacement for the stock part.
